Heart Of Texas Nature Center Visits Library’s Summer Reading Program

The Heart of Texas Nature Center visited the Brownwood Public Library Summer Reading Club Thursday morning, where members presented a lesson on falconry with a hawk and an owl to those in attendance at Adams Street Community Center.

The non-profit focuses on wildlife education and conservation through hands on learning, and Cal the Red Tailed Hawk and Willow the Barn Owl made an appearance at the event.
