Brownwood ISD (BISD) has announced its 2023-2024 End-of-Year Employee Awards. The awards are sponsored by the Brownwood Education Foundation (BEF) and include service awards, retiree recognitions, employees of the year, teachers of the year from each campus, as well as the BISD regional teacher of the year nominees.
BISD congratulates all the honorees and award-winners and would like to thank BEF for their support of these annual recognitions. BEF representatives in attendance included Draco Miller Jr., Sam Stewardson (BEF President), Danielle Rosborough (Executive Coordinator), and Greg Hattlestad.
DISTRICT TEACHERS OF THE YEAR
On Friday, May 31, BISD announced Brownwood Middle School teacher Amber Evans (pictured left) as the Secondary Teacher of the Year, and Northwest Elementary ECSE teacher Susan Mora (pictured right) as the Elementary Teacher of the Year! These teachers will move on to represent BISD as regional teacher of the year nominees.
