Patsy Spivey, 86, passed away May 29, 2024, in Bangs Texas. She was born on September 14, 1937, to Charles and Elinor Sikes in Santa Anna Texas.

Patsy was a longtime member of the First Methodist Church in Bangs. She retired from the City of Bangs as an Administrative Assistant. After retirement Patsy’s passion was running the Bangs Food Pantry and serving those in her community in their time of need.

Patsy is survived by her son Jeff Spivey and wife Melissa of Florida. Her granddaughter Tiffany Heitkamp and husband Paul, her grandson Zachary Spivey and wife Sydney.  Her great-grandchildren Avery, Wyatt and Ross. Patsy is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a number of cousins and close friends who were just like family.

Patsy is preceded by her son, Danny Spivey, parents Charles and Elinor Sikes, her brother Tommy Sikes and her twin brother Bob Sikes.

Services will be held by the family on Saturday June 1, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the Bangs Methodist Church with Wayne Lewis officiating. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home in Brownwood.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Bangs Food Pantry in Bangs Texas.
