Cathy “Cat Cat” Stofcik, age 56, passed away on Monday May 6, 2024, in Corsicana Texas.

Cathy was born September 27, 1967, to Nancy Stephens Ray in Long Beach California. She loved all animals, music, dancing and eating. She enjoyed getting her nails done, loved jewelry, and she had the most incredible laugh. Cathy was the life of the party everywhere she went. She always remembered everyone’s birthdays and made sure to call them and wish them a Happy Birthday.

Cathy is survived by Sister Lisa Penn and Joe of Brownwood. Her nephews Brandon Penn and Nicole of Brownwood, Brady Penn and Emily of Brownwood. Her niece, Brittney Grier and Josh of Rockwall. Her Great Nieces and Nephews, Brooklyn, Breelynn, Blaine, Beckham, Chandler, and Briella. Her cousins, Steve Reynolds, Brandy Haralson, and Tempress Hardin. Cathy is also survived by numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother Nancy Stephens Ray, her cousin Linda Krehbiel, and her grandparents.

A Come and Go Celebration of Life will be held Saturday May 11, 2024, from 2pm-4pm at Blaylock Funeral Home in Brownwood.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Corrine T. Smith Animal Clinic of Brownwood.

Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
