This month’s spotlight teacher is Tracy Morelock. Ms. Morelock is a fourth grade math teacher at Woodland Heights Elementary. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University and she is a state-certified teacher (Grades 1-6, General, Mathematics and Health Specializations). This is her 15th year with Brownwood ISD.
Ms. Morelock is a fantastic math teacher! She is known for her great math skills and the children all love her. Students learn so well in her classes that parents often report how much their children are improving and are actually loving math. Ms. Morelock is definitely an inspiration at Woodland Heights Elementary!
Brownwood ISD is grateful to have highly skilled educators like Ms. Morelock whose expertise and commitment continue to inspire and shape the minds of young learners.
Our staff spotlight honoree for the month is Miranda Windham! Ms. Windham is the registrar at Northwest Elementary School. She is graduate of Coleman High School and is currently working on obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science. This is her second year with Brownwood ISD.
Ms. Windham is an amazing registrar who brings positivity and organization to the school. She plays a crucial role in ensuring that the office runs smoothly and that the teachers receive the support they need. Her interactions with the students are characterized by her patience and kindness. Whether it’s helping them with their questions or offering a listening ear, Ms. Windham always takes the time to provide students with the attention and care they deserve.
Brownwood ISD is blessed to have staff like Ms. Windham who go out of their way to provide students and staff with the best support while also making them feel loved, valued, and appreciated.
