One Person Killed In Two-Vehicle Weekend Accident Near Santa Anna

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, one person was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Coleman County over the weekend.

The accident took place at 12 a.m. Saturday, March 16 on U.S. Highway 67 (US 67), 4 miles east of Santa Anna.

The preliminary investigation revealed a 2011 Ford F250 pickup truck was traveling west on US 67. A 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck turned onto US 67 in front of the Ford and was traveling on US 67 and was struck by the Ford from the rear. Both people involved in the accident were wearing seat belts.

Daniel Siller Jr., 57, of Santa Anna, the driver of the Dodge, was transported to Coleman County Medical Center and pronounced dead at 1:28 Saturday, March 16 by Dr. Paul Reynolds.
