The rescheduled Brownwood High School James Crow Alumni Baseball Game – postponed from its original Feb. 17 date due to cold weather – will take place Saturday, March 23 at Morris Southall Field.
There will be an Easter Egg hunt for all baseball Little Lions at 9:45 a.m. followed by the Alumni Home Run Derby and the ending with the Alumni Game. There will be brisket sandwiches or sausage wraps for lunch.
Some of the items that will be raffled Saturday include four tickets to the Texas Rangers/Houston Astros Game on April 6 in Arlington; a Shelby Miller autographed baseball; a seasoning/grilling basket from Weakley Watson; Alamo Pecan and Coffee Gift Basket; a Taste of the Town basket of restaurant gift certificates worth $150; 2 hitting lessons from Coach Blake Sandford (BISD students must be 6th grade of below; Shaw’s Marketplace basket; adult minky blanket; Dewalt tool basket; and Diamond Kinetics Swingtracker bat sensor; among others.
Raffle tickets are $10 each. Come and enjoy some baseball and help raise funds for the James Crow Legacy Scholarship Fund.
