The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release Tuesday regarding felony cases recently heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith.

• Cody Childs aka Cody Jack Childs pled guilty to the felony offense of Felon in Possession of a Firearm and was sentenced to 25 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
• Alicia Evonne Cox aka Alicia Evonne Corkroft aka Alicia Smith Gallander pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
