Katrina Mardell Carmack, age 60, of Brownwood passed away on Friday February 16, 2024, at her home. A graveside service will be held on Friday March 15, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Cedar Point Cemetery with Bro. Bill Slaymaker officiating. Services are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Katrina was born on November 28, 1963, to Henry and Eva Carmack in Brownwood, Texas. She graduated from Brownwood High School in 1975. Katrina loved to dance and was very good at it. She was known as a free-spirited woman. Katrina was a long-haul commercial truck driver for most of her life.

Katrina is survived by her daughter, Amberlei Alvarez of Brownwood; brother, Rodney Carmack and wife Gladys of Brownwood; grandchildren, Trey and Derek Martin; along with several other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; children, Andrea and Arlen Carnes; brother, Robert Carmack.
