Lady Lions soccer defeats Lampasas, 8-0

LAMPASAS – The Brownwood Lady Lions chalked up their third consecutive District 5-4A soccer victory as they went on the road Tuesday night to begin the second half of league action and secured an 8-0 win over Lampasas.

The Lady Lions (12-5-1, 4-3) received three goals from Kynlie Lewis, two from Braycee Lee, and one apiece from Molly Oliver and Icess Hall, along with an own goal by Lampasas.

Jacklyn Lewis was credited with two assists while Reagan Ratliff, Mariah Young and Madison Weckwerth each tallied one.

Hannah Deen recorded the shutout in goal.

Brownwood will host district leader and unbeaten Salado (21-0, 7-0) at 7 p.m. Friday at Gordon Wood Stadium.
