Lions powerlifters finish first at Brady

BRADY – The Brownwood Lions powerlifters won their second consecutive team championship in as many outings Thursday, finishing first at the Brady Heart of Texas Invitational. Brownwood finished with 40 points trailed by Lampasas with 32, Marble Falls with 31, Early with 27 points and Brady with 20 points.

Results for the Lions are as follows:

  • Aidan Packheiser 1st in 308s (1,345 pounds lifted – 545 squat, 365 bench, 435 deadlift)
  • Cole Miller 1st in the 242s (1,510 pounds lifted – 600 squat, 325 bench, 585 deadlift)
  • Xavier Zepeda 1st in the 165s (1,105 pounds lifted – 460 squat, 215 bench, 430 deadlift)
  • Robert Trowbridge 2nd in the 275s (1,360 pounds lifted – 500 squat, 285 bench, 575 deadlift)
  • Luke Hagood 3rd in the 308s (1,165 pounds lifted – 485 squat, 295 bench, 385 deadlift)
  • Jason Zheng 3rd in the 181s (1,320 pounds lifted – 490 squat, 375 bench, 455 deadlift)
  • Jeremy Ansons 3rd in the 148s (940 pounds lifted – 365 squat, 240 bench, 335 deadlift)
  • Logan Knight 4th in the 275s (1,310 pounds lifted – 500 squat, 335 bench, 475 deadlift)
  • Preston Cook 4th in the 132s (885 pounds lifted – 325 squat, 205 bench, 380 deadlift)
  • Braylon Chairez 5th in the 114s (465 pounds lifted – 145 squat, 115 bench, 205 deadlift)

Brownwood will next compete at the San Angelo Lake View on Thursday, Feb. 15.
