Lucy Mays, age 81, of Brownwood passed away on Wednesday February 7, 2024, in Brownwood, Texas. A graveside service for Lucy will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Valley Cemetery with Toy Holt officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, at Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Lucy was born on April 4, 1942, to Johnny and Bernice Williams on the Homeplace in Brownwood, Texas. She loved the outdoors and crafting. Lucy worked for the Feather Factory as well as 3M where she retired after many years.

Lucy is survived by 2 brothers, Johhny Williams of Aransas Pass and Joe Williams and wife Kathi of Gorman, nephews, Jason and Jon Williams of Mississippi and Jacob Williams of Corpus Christi, 2 great-nephews and a great-niece, along with other relatives and friends and lifelong friend Ozetta Benson.
