The following fishing reports are provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department beginning Feb. 1:

LAKE BROWNWOOD

GOOD. Water stained; 42-46 degrees; 8.70 feet below pool. Black bass are slow with catches up to 3 pounds on jerk baits in 4-12 feet. Crappie are poor around the docks and brush piles on minnows in 10-15 feet of water. White bass are poor on crankbaits and small jigs. Catfish are slow at baited holes.

LAKE CISCO

FAIR. Water slightly stained; 60 degrees; 11.62 feet below pool. Expect the bite to slow and fish to move deep. Catfish are biting in 20 feet of water on goldfish or perch. Report by Lake Cisco Rentals.

LAKE COLEMAN

SLOW. Water stained; 50 degrees; 9.11 feet below pool. Bass are slow with crankbaits and rattletraps. Crappie are slow in deep water with jigs. White and hybrid bass are slow.

LAKE O.H. IVIE

FAIR. Water stained; 45 degrees; 30.60 feet below pool. White bass are slow. Crappie, fair live bait or jigs. Largemouth are slow. As the lake level drops, be cautious of the trees. Report by Concho Park Marina. Crappie, white bass and channel catfish are slow in 30 feet of water suspended off the bottom. Water is slightly stained from runoff. LAKE PROCTOR

FAIR. Water stained; 50 degrees; 12.81 feet below pool. The lake is low so check ramp status before heading out.
