Thomas Kyle Teston was a caring husband, father, grandfather and friend.  He left this world surrounded by family on January 11, 2024, at age 83.

He was born to Elbert Boyd Teston and Willie Catherine Teston (Triplett) on September 13, 1940, in Zephyr, Texas.  He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lynne Ellen Teston (Ligon), 4 children: Kelley, Matt, Katy, and Tim, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way.

Kyle was retired from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department after serving over 30 years at Lake Brownwood State Park.  He was also retired from the Texas Army National Guard.  He was a role model and mentor to many.  Kyle loved spending time with his family and friends in the outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening.

A celebration of Kyle’s life will be held this summer on June 29, 2024, at the Visitor’s Center at Lake Brownwood, Texas, from 12:00 – 2:00 pm.  A meal will be served and all family and friends are invited to attend.
