John Waylan Baker Jr. 63, of Dublin, TX went to his heavenly home in Abilene, TX at Hendricks Hospice Care on January 19, 2024. He was born October 21, 1960, in Wichita Falls, TX, the son of John Waylan Baker Sr. and Sue Ann Marie Moffitt.

John Baker is survived by his wife Mary Alice Baker. John and Mary were married on July 18, 1987, in Mineral Wells, TX.

John Baker was the father of 6 children: Sharon, Candace, Elizabeth, Christopher, Lindsay, and Cassandra, and the grandfather of 9 Grandchildren, John Baker had 4 brothers: Rex, Clifford, James, and Ronnie.

John Baker was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Comanche, TX and most recently worked as an Assistant Produce Manager at Brookshire’s in Comanche, TX. John also worked in the tire industry for over 20 years.

John’s interests were music, religious studies, spending time with grandchildren and working hard.

John will be remembered most for his love of God and his love for his family.
