Meador, Hope Yvonne (Joyner) 87, of Lufkin, TX passed away Thursday, December 21st, 2023.
Funeral service to be held at Davis Morris Chapel, Heritage Funeral Home, Brownwood, TX on Thursday, December 28th, 2023.
Hope was born February 21st, 1936 in Wilson, North Carolina. Married to Robert Thomas Meador (deceased) on July 26th, 1954.
The wife of a US Navy Sailor and mother of eight children, Hope provided a home port for her family on the East, Gulf, and West Coasts before finally settling her roots in Texas.
Hope was preceded in death by Robert Thomas Meador(husband), her daughter Lisa Faye Welch, her sons Charles Livingston Meador, William Joseph Meador, daughter in law Sandra Meador and grandson Skylar Needham.
Hope is survived by her children, grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
Melvin Welch (Son in Law), Sylvia Meador (Daughter in Law), Jerry Don Meador (Son), Jeff and Annabelle Relford (Daughter), Eddy and Deana Meador (Son and Daughter in Law), Gary and Robbi Pond (Son in Law and Daughter), and Lonnie Gene Meador (Son).
Grandchildren: Mary Sykes, Bo Welch, Sheila Williams, Justin Murray, Kirsten Meador, Annie Campbell, Ruddy Bourgeois, Rachel Johnson, David Meador, Stefan Meador, Christopher Hamilton, Nicholas Meador, Loren Wallace, Alden Needham, Jennifer Vasquez, Georgia Mason, Antay Waters, Austin Pond, Kota Pondsworth, Ashley Meador, and Rowan Clark.
And multiple Great Grandchildren.
