SALADO – The Brownwood Lions have evened their season record at 8-8 with a 65-54 road victory over Salado Tuesday night, the seventh win in the last nine outings for head coach Will Parker’s squad.

The Lions led 20-7 after one period, 33-21 at halftime, and 49-42 heading into the fourth quarter.

Ike Hall paced the Brownwood attack with 22 points trailed by Casey Friebel with 16, Morsello Hooker with eight, Austin Pittman with seven, Hayden Noe with five, and Ross Stasner, Aaron Edmonds and Carson Noe with two points apiece.

The Lions are back in action at 4:30 p.m. Friday as they venture to Abilene High.
