The Coleman Police Department is investigating a vehicle/pedestrian fatality accident which occurred Friday, December 1, 2023, at 7:44 am, at the intersection of Commercial Avenue and Walnut Street in Coleman.

Wesley Earl Preas, 67, of Coleman, was transported by helicopter to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth and was later pronounced dead.

The accident remains under investigation by the Coleman Police Department.
