Edward Glenn Carroll, age 73, of Brownwood, passed away peacefully, on November 23, 2023, with his daughters by his side. His care has been entrusted to Heartland Funeral Home.

 

Edward was born on December 1, 1949 in Porter, Texas. He met Mildred and the couple married in February of 1969. Edward proudly served in the United States Army and later worked as a carpenter doing construction work. He enjoyed building things, collecting coins, yard work of all kinds, watching television and he sure loved his dog.

 

Edward is survived by his daughters, Ruthie Miller (husband Shane) and Kathy Carroll; sons, Edward Fowler, Jr. and Roger Fowler, as well as numerous friends.

 

Edward was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 40 years, Mildred Carroll.
