Robert Turner, age 64, of Early, Texas left this earthly life while in the presence of his beloved family to be with God on November 5. He lives on eternally because of the blood shed by Jesus, Robert’s Savior.
Robert was born in Athens Alabama to his loving parents, Robert and Yvonne Turner. He graduated Churchill High School in San Antonio in 1977 and earned a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in 1987.
Robert loved football, golfing and was an avid fisherman. He was very talented in photography and writing. Robert was a loving husband to Jan for 39 years. He was a loving son, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. He was also a great “cat dad” He will be greatly missed.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert Turner, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Jan Turner and mother, Yvonne Turner, both of Early Texas, sister, Sharon Turner of Mountain View, Arkansas, nephew, Andrew Johnson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, aunts, Margaret Bass of San Antonio and Sue Farley of Ruston, Louisiana.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at a later date.
