Brown County will get a winter weather preview Sunday and Monday as a strong cold front arrives around sunrise on Sunday morning.
Expect temperatures to fall to near 40 degrees by noon Sunday, then to the mid 30’s by sunset Sunday. Temperatures should stay around 34-35 degrees Sunday night.
Wind chill temperatures on Sunday will be in the 30’s but by Monday morning, when you go to school and work, the wind chill will feel like 25. Expect high temperatures on Monday in the low 40’s.
In addition to the cold air comes a good chance for rain Sunday, Sunday night and most of the day on Monday. An additional half inch of rain is being projected Sunday into Monday. As of this forecast (early Saturday morning) the precipitation is expected to remain as rain in the Brown County area but don’t be surprised if a few sleet pellets mix in, but not to a great extent.
By Tuesday, high temperatures will warm up into the 50’s as sunshine returns.
HALLOWEEN FORECAST: Trick or Treaters can expect clear skies on Tuesday evening with temperatures ranging between 47 and 50 degrees between 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
No rain is expected Tuesday through next weekend.
