Ronald LeVeque Stubblefield, a compassionate and beloved individual, peacefully passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 62. Born on September 4, 1961, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Ron was the epitome of a devoted son, brother, and uncle.

With a warm and gentle nature, Ron touched the lives of many in his community. His kind spirit and old-fashioned manners, such as always removing his hat indoors and opening car doors for the ladies, were a testament to his respectful nature. He possessed a deep love for his family and was an integral part of his great nephews’ lives, creating cherished memories and imparting valuable life lessons.

Ron took pride in his country and demonstrated unwavering patriotism throughout his life. Having worked in the supermarket industry for an impressive 40 years, Ron’s dedication and strong work ethic were admirable. He diligently served at renowned establishments such as Fred Meyers, H.E.B., and Shoppin’ Baskit, leaving a positive impact on his colleagues and customers alike.

He is survived by his mother, Dolores Stetson; his siblings, Carmen Runyan and husband Ben, Misa Stubblefield and husband Dwight Zeiba. Lacey Aarosvold, Ian Stubblefield and wife Tanya, Larrianne Spitzer and husband Arron, Katya Stubblefield, and Zevon Stubblefield and wife Tamie, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. He was also a devout uncle and friend to his many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. Ron’s passing has left a void in the lives of his loved ones, who will always remember his gentle soul and unwavering love.

Ron is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Roy Stubblefield, his grandparents, Ralph and Ethel Stubblefield, and his brother, Donald Stetson.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Ron’s life will be held at the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 5:00 pm. Friends, family, and community members are invited to attend and share fond memories of Ron’s incredible journey. In accordance with his wishes, Ron’s remains will be cremated, and a private family inurnment will take place in the Coleman City Cemetery.  Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

In this time of grief, let us remember Ron as a compassionate, devoted individual who left an indelible mark on the lives of those he encountered. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
