LUBBOCK – The game most believed would decide the district championship was played on Thursday night in Lubbock and when the final buzzer sounded, the Brownwood Lions were victorious 35-14 over the Lubbock Estacado Matadors. The Lions held Lubbock to 57 yards of total offense. The game was tied 14-14 at halftime. The Lions have clinched at least a share of the District Championship and can win the outright championship by beating Andrews next week.
