Thursday September 14, 2023, is the date of a weed control program and tour which will be conducted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. The program will be held on-site, and participants will be able to see the results of a multi-plot herbicide research project. During the program various herbicides intended for weed control in pastures will be discussed.
This program is open to anyone interested. There will be a $10 registration fee payable in cash at the beginning of the program. Two (2) CEU’s will be offered to licensed TDA applicators.
Those interested are asked to meet at the intersection of HWY 183 North and FM 2273 prior to 5:30pm on Thursday September 14, 2023. The group will then travel a short distance to the program location. The designated meeting location is approximately 13 miles north of 183 from the mall in Early and approximately 5 miles south of May on 183.
