The City of Brownwood City Council will hold a Special Called Meeting Tuesday, September 5, at 9:00 am at City Hall, 501 Center Avenue, to take care of the following agenda items.

1. Call to Order
2. Pledge of Allegiance
3. Invocation

4. Citizen Presentations
Any citizen who desires to address the City Council on a matter not included on the agenda may do so at this time. The City Council may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item. To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Council respectfully requests that prior to addressing the Council, each person submit a citizen presentation form that is located at the entryway to the Council Chambers, stating your name, address, and topic of presentation. All presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit.

5. Ordinances and Resolutions
A. Consider an ordinance on first reading setting charges for fees, rentals, licenses, and permits for the City of Brownwood for FY 23/24.
B. Consider an ordinance on first reading setting charges, fees, rates, and deposits for customers on the Brownwood water, sewer, and sanitation system for FY 23/24.
C. Consider an ordinance on first reading levying ad valorem taxes for Tax Year 2023 at a rate of $.6659 per $100 value, which is a 3.79% increase in total ad valorem tax revenues.
D. Consider an ordinance on second and third/final reading adopting the FY 23/24 budget.
