The Early Police Department has released the names of the individuals involved in the fatality crash that occurred Sunday evening in the 1300 block of Early Boulevard in Early.

The driver was 19-year-old Jesse Landers of Brownwood. Landers was flown to Harris Hospital in Fort Worth for treatment. Landers was wearing his seatbelt.

The passenger was 53-year-old Kathy Culwell of Brownwood. Culwell died on scene and was not wearing a seatbelt.

According to Early PD, the vehicle was traveling toward the west on Early Blvd when it left the road, struck a power pole and then crashed on its side against a tree.

Currently the crash is still under investigation.
