Alfred Soliz Delgado, known as Mr. Fred, age 71, of Brownwood, passed away on July 24, 2023.

The family will hold a memorial service and reception on Friday, July 28, from 6 to 7:30 pm, at The Worship Center in Brownwood, with all friends and family welcome to come.

Mr. Fred was born to Alfred Soliz Delgado, Sr. and Mary Louise Rodriguez Delgado on May 15, 1952 in Brownwood. He grew up in Brownwood and graduate from Brownwood High School. Mr. Fred was employed at the South Park Development Center for over 30 years and was a wonderful caregiver to many people throughout the years.

Mr. Fred was a member of The Worship Center and found love and support there. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, fishing, attending church, the Senior Citizens Center activities, playing pool and he loved Elvis.

Mr. Fred is survived by his son, Alfredo Jose Hernandez and wife Holly; his brother, Gregory S. Rodriguez; grandchildren, Adam, Tre’ Scott, Zoey and Patricia Hernandez, Erin Sliger, Thomas and Chance Franqui; 3 great-grandchildren, as well as several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
