On July 14, 2023 the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigation Division and Brown County SWAT Team executed a search and arrest warrant on James Howard Allen at a residence on CR 469 in Brown County, after a lengthy investigation.

Allen was the only occupant of the residence and found to be in possession of more than 6 oz of methamphetamine. Allen was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Brown County Jail, where he was booked in for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 >=4g < 200g.

According to online jail records, Allen’s bond is set at $50,000.
