Roger Allen Elliott, age 70, of Brady, Texas passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at his residence north of Brady. Roger was born November 5, 1952 in Big Spring, Texas to Tarleton Lavern Elliott and Violet (Carlson) Elliott. He was a Beeville High School graduate. He has lived in the Brady area most of his life. He worked in the family roofing business for several years before going into the game ranch management. He has been the ranch manager for Cross Oaks Ranch for over 20 years. He was a gun enthusiast and enjoyed riding dirt bikes, dancing, archery and hunting.

Funeral services for Roger Elliott will be held Saturday morning, July 1, 2023 at 10:00am at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady with Rev. Don Ziriax officiating. Interment will follow at the Mertzon Cemetery in Mertzon at 3:30pm Saturday. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Johns, Bill Lohn, Tim Hendley, Jason Cross, Rick Riley, Michael Wade, Billy Smith, Colt Riley and Logan Riley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Sylvester Roberts, Richard Jones, Randy Elliott and S. Orville Wright.

Roger is survived by his mother Violet Elliott of Brady, TX; fiancé Janet Gotcher of Brady, TX; sons Carlton Elliott and wife Martha Garcia of Brady, TX, David Elliott of Brady, TX and Travis Elliott and fiancé Ana Lara Brown of Brady, TX; daughters Brandy Elliott and fiancé Dough DeShong of San Angelo, TX and Tracey Tucker and husband James Tucker of Hamlin, TX; brothers Randy Elliott of Brady, TX; sister Sabrina Elliott of Brady, TX; grandchildren Kallie Elliott, Kyle Webber, Jordan Teague, Evan Roper, Brody Mellas, Peyton Evans, Gauge Evans, Abby Evans and Crockett Elliott; great-grandchild Millie Binns; special aunt Sally Elliott Wright of Brady, TX and special cousins Sylvester Roberts and Polly Robertson.
