Ann Frakes, age 46 of Early, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood.

Funeral services for Ann will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel in Brownwood, with Bobby Machen officiating. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Ann was born to Arthur Cantrell and Effie (Blevins) Cantrell, on January 23, 1977, in Kilgore, Texas. She worked for Walmart for many years. Ann loved dolphins and being at the ocean. She enjoyed arts & crafts and drawing.

Those left to cherish her memory include her three sons, Bradley Simpson of Bangs, Austin Frakes of Early, and Chris Frakes of Early; mother and stepfather, Effie and Billy Hull of Brownwood; her father, Dale Cantrell of Brownwood; her brother, Dale Wayne Cantrell of Brownwood; stepbrother, Petie Cantrell; stepsister, Sasha Hull of Cross Plains; stepbrother, B.J. Hull of Lake Brownwood; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
