Jerry Rex Clark, 76, of passed away on April 6, 2023.
A memorial service will be 1:00 pm on Friday, May 26th at Heartland Funeral Home in Early with Bill Slaymaker officiating.
Rex was born on November 1,1946 in Brownwood, Texas. He graduated from Brownwood High School and received a BA in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. Rex married Mary Ann Sullivan and they began a life together that blessed them with 2 children. He loved to build/create things. Rex loved baseball, his favorite team was the New York Yankees, and his favorite player was Mickey Mantle. He had a passion for horses and loved to ride. Rex served in both the Air Force and Army National Guard. The Army awarded him with a marksmanship award. In April 1972 Rex was awarded the Major General K. L. Berry Trophy for heroism.
Rex is survived by sons, Joshua Rhett Clark and Jared Rex Clark both of Fort Worth, Texas; sister, Kay Keith and husband Craig; and 3 grandchildren.
