On Wednesday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to noon, Brown County Retired School Employees will be having a Drive-In on Underwood’s parking lot for your convenience in paying your 2023-24 Texas Retired Teachers dues of $45.

If you are a retiree from the Texas Teacher Retirement System and receive a monthly annuity, your membership is needed to help work to improve benefits.

TRTA is the only organization in Texas that lobbies for improvements of our benefits. Currently there are more than 970 annuitants living in Brown County.
