In San Angelo on Friday, the Bangs Lady Dragons captured the Area Championship with two victories over the Hamlin Lady Pipers, 3-1 and 10-8. Bangs (26-4) will now advance to the Quarterfinals to play Hawley (21-10) next weekend. Hawley defeated Reagan County to advance.
