On Friday, April 14, 2023, Brookesmith ISD students competed in the District 17/18 1A High School Area Meet at San Saba.

Five Brookesmith High School students qualified to compete in the Regional Track Meet in Whitney on April 28th and 29th.

They are: Trey Toft, 400m dash;  Nevaeh Neith, Triple Jump; Elida Uvalle, Discus and Shot put; Mya Richards 100m Hurdles and Harley Gilliam, 300m Hurdles, Pole Vault and High Jump.
