James M. Stewart was born inside a farm house in Midway, Texas to parents Howard, H.D., Stewart Sr. and Runie Lee Stewart on March the 5th, 1934.

He became a barber in 1955 and worked as one until his very last day, April 8th, 2023. He enjoyed doing house projects, fishing, dancing with his wife, and playing cards with friends.

James is Proceeded in death by both parents, his brother, Howard Jr, and his wife, Marsha Ann Stewart.

James is Survived by his three daughters, Renee, Alexia, and Salome, and two son-in-laws, William Rought and Andrew Johnson.

A Memorial Service will be April 17 at 9:00 am at Heritage Funeral Home Davis-Morris Chapel in Brownwood.
