Judy Parker, 74, of Coleman died Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene.
The family will host a time of visitation from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2023 at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 West Pecan Street in Coleman.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2023 at the Glen Cove Cemetery. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
She was born Judy Leigh Stuteville on June 11, 1948, in Big Spring to Douglas Owen Stuteville and Patsy Ruth Ray Stuteville. Judy grew up in Big Spring where she graduated from high school. On February 7, 1972, Judy married Ronnie Parker in Big Spring. Judy worked as an independent insurance agent for 40 years. She and Ronnie moved to Coleman in 2010 from Abilene.
Judy loved to cook. She enjoyed trying new recipes and tweaking them just a bit. She also enjoyed being in the outdoors, especially watching the sun come up as she drank she her morning coffee, fishing, taking vacations and visiting at the family reunions. Judy loved holding cats, dogs and deer. She never liked to gossip and always spoke to the Lord at mealtime.
Preceding Judy in death are her parents and her husband. She is survived by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dale and Darlena Wright of Abilene; nieces and nephews, Phillip Zamora of Abilene, Josh Wright of Clyde, Kimberly Warren of Abilene, Amanda Clayton of Clyde; a great niece, Kaylee Warren of Abilene and many cousins.
