The Brownwood Lady Lions and Lions soccer teams both suffered their second straight District 5-4A losses, falling at home to Stephenville Tuesday night.
The Lady Lions dropped a 4-1 decision to No. 2 Stephenville, allowing three goals in the final 17 minutes. Kennedi Johnson scored for Brownwood (12-5-1, 6-4).
The Lions were dealt a 5-1 defeat by Stephenville as Brownwood trailed by three goals at intermission. Noah Barron accounted for the goal for the Lions (10-11-1, 6-4).
Both Brownwood teams will be back on the field Friday at Gatesville as doubleheader action begins at 5 p.m.
