Brown County Christian School [BCCS] Principal Dr. William Hoffman, Victory Life Church Pastor Dr. Craig Smee, and Administrative Assistant Sarah Hoffman shared their vision for the future of BCCS at a meeting with parents on Tuesday, Feb 28th.

In a move designed to make Christian education more accessible, expandable, and tailored to area residents, BCCS is establishing itself independently.

Over the last six years, the school has been a satellite campus of Victory Life Academy in Durant, Oklahoma, and has received its accreditation through Victory Life.

“We are excited to announce that Brown County Christian School will be operating under a new, locally run non-profit organization called Central Texas Education Center,” Dr. Hoffman stated.

Under this new entity, Brown County Christian School will continue to provide education for students in Brown County and their surrounding areas. Central Texas Education Center will be governed by a board of current and former educators, business leaders and advisory members. During the meeting,

“The commitment to providing a well-rounded education from a Christian perspective is ongoing,” Dr, Hoffman commented. “Our mission at BCCS is to equip, empower, and educate. First, we equip students to find their identity through what the Word of God says. We empower them to make a difference in their world today through discipleship and Biblical teaching. Finally, we educate them using a challenging Bible-based curriculum that gives them the knowledge they need to succeed in their endeavors in every walk of life.”
