Jack Royce Hill joined his Lord at the age of 93 Years, on February 26, 2023, at his home in Brownwood, Texas. Jack was born on July 26, 1929, in Okra, Texas to Gene and Opal Hill. He was married to Joyce Avanell Tyler on September 10, 1949. 

Jack was preceded in death by his wife, his daughter Jacquline Hill Brown, his brother Weldon Hill, his parents Gene and Opal Hill, and granddaughter Angela Gene Hill and son in law Kenneth Cole. Jack is survived by his daughter, Paula Cole of Brownwood, TX and son Terry Hill and wife Christie Hill of Magnolia, TX. He has two sisters-in-laws, Bea Grimes and spouse Don Grimes and Betty Latimer. One son in law, Dwight Brown and wife Toni.  Jack had five grandchildren Renee Meek and husband Dan Meek, Matt Brown and wife Kellen Brown, Cody Hill and wife Angela Hill, Stacey Gibson and husband Brian Gibson, and Jason Brown and wife Whitney Brown. He also had 14 great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Haley, Jack and Audrey Hill, Elise and Harper Brown, Judah, Eden, Jacob and Jacqson Gibson, and Emery, Cohen, Griffin, and Lincoln Brown. Jack worked for El Paso Natural Gas/Sid Richardson for 40 years in the west Texas area and Jal, New Mexico.  He was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the Church of Christ and then the First Christian Church in Brownwood. Pall Bearers: Cody Hill, Matt Brown, Jason Brown, Dan Meek, Brian Gibson, Steve Hill and Kelly Hill.

Services will be held at Heritage Funeral Home Davis Morris Chapel on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 10:00 am.  

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Heritage Funeral Home Davis Morris Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in the memory of Jack Hill to the Brownwood Senior Citizen Center or to the charity of your choice.
