Brown County Commissioners will hold two meetings today, Monday, February 27. The first meeting at 1:30 in the county courthouse includes action regarding appointing Brenda Arp as the new Elections Administrator effective April 1st.
Possible action regarding local funeral homes fees
Possible approval regarding the Pleasant Valley Ranches Plat
Possible action to purchase equipment for the Sheriff’s Department
Possible approval of an agreement with Top Cut Lawn for landscaping work at the Law Enforcement Center for the payment of $5,297.50
Commissioners will open bids for a 2021 or newer diesel pickup
Commissioners will then temporarily recess and reconvene at the Brown County Museum of History for a short tour and to inspect the facility. Afterwards they’ll go back to the courthouse for discussion regarding needed repairs at the Brown County Museum of History.
County Commissioners will then hold a Special Meeting at 4:30 pm today in the courthouse for possible approval to purchase vehicles for the Sheriff’s Department and purchase equipment for those vehicles.
