Thomas “Tom” Edward Denison, age 87, of Brownwood, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023 in Brownwood.
A visitation for Tom will be held from 5 to 7 PM on February 15th at Heartland Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on at 10AM Thursday, February 16th at Heartland Funeral Home Chapel.
Tom was born on April 2, 1935 in Brownwood to Ethel and Preston Denison. He married Delores (Dee) Denison on March 10, 1956 in Dallas. Tom served in the United States Air Force for 4 years, and later served in the United States Army until he retired. While serving, Tom was rewarded the Bronze Star and Marksman Award. After retiring from the Army, he was the VFW Club manager host in Brownwood for many years. He attended High Mesa Cowboy Church in Brownwood.
Tom is survived by his son, Robert Denison; grand-son Kerry Lee Drew; and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dee Denison; parents, his son, Ricky Denison; and brothers, Cliford and James Denison.
