At a November 2021 BISD Board of Trustees meeting, concerned partners and citizens presented a slideshow to the board detailing the areas within the school district that they felt required improvement, which took place prior to a vote that allowed the school district to partner with Claycomb Associates, Architects to assist in comprising a list of needs – free of charge. Claycomb Associates, Architects assisted Burnet ISD with its current renovations that are near completion. Beginning in September 2022, a 20-person citizens advisory committee met a total of five times in an effort to narrow down projects to be considered.
Additional details on the bond are expected to be released by the Brownwood Pride Political Action Committee as early as Tuesday.
