We received the following information from the Brookesmith School District at 11:00 am Monday, February 13:

All Brookesmith ISD students were released early today due to a suspected malfunctioning component of the ventilation system.

The exact cause is currently unknown. However, out of an abundance of caution, students and staff have been dismissed for the remainder of the day.

School will resume tomorrow. Updates will be provided as they become available.
