As of Tuesday, January 24, all three incumbents on the Brownwood City Council had filed for re-election for the May election.
They are Ed McMillian, Ward 2 (below)
Melody Nowowiejski, Ward 3 (below)
Walker Willey, Ward 5 (below)
Other candidates wishing to run for Brownwood City Council may file for office through Friday, February 17, at 5:00 pm at City Hall.
The same deadline date holds true for other city council and school board elections across the state.
