Hendrick Health released information this morning to clarify questions as to the current status of mask usage in Hendrick facilities. According to the statement:
“Hendrick Health continues to monitor the COVID-19 levels in our community and in our hospitals and ICUs. Over the last few weeks, we have seen the number of cases increase in these areas, and have taken steps internally to help mitigate the spread. Hendrick Health employees and healthcare providers who are actively interacting or taking care of patients will be required to wear a mask or proper PPE, effective Jan. 9.
Visitation is not affected at this time. However, we encourage visitors to wear a mask when in patient care areas. Masks will be available at entrances and Admission areas.”
