Eddie Gomez Makes Appearance in “Yellowstone”

The Strategic Alliance for Social Leadership and Action – issued the following press release Thursday afternoon:

Eddie Gomez (shown left in the photos), Brownwood High School and Howard Payne University graduate, expanded his growing list of appearances in movies and television programs. Last week he appeared as a ranch hand in the popular television series Yellowstone.

In most of his appearances, Gomez has played in action roles, building on his horseback riding experience on his grandfather’s ranch and armed conflict during Desert Storm as a member of the Air Ground Task Force, 2nd Battalion, U.S. Marine Corps, including drug interdiction missions.

In his first movie, Gomez played a Mexican soldier in Ron Howard’s production of the The Alamo. Other movies in which he has appeared include Washington’s Armor, which was about the French Indian War, The Son, Day 5, Queen of the South, Buckskin, Dawn at Dominion, The Reckoning, 1883, and most recently in Yellowstone. His film and television appearances generally follow predominantly western and military themes.

Future appearances in upcoming movies and television programs are in the planning stages.

Gomez is the eldest son of Ted Jr. and Angie Gomez. He and his wife Julie, also a Howard Payne graduate, have two children and one grandchild.
