Leonard Rackow, age 77, of Marion, died Sunday, December 25, 2022, at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center in Seguin.

The family will host a visitation at 1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman. Interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.

He was born Leonard Earnest Rackow on November 3, 1945, in Coleman to Otto Rackow and Catherine Boyd Rackow. Leonard grew up in Coleman where he attended school. He was a heavy equipment operator and specialized in hazmat cleanup. Leonard enjoyed freshwater fishing, drawing, and was an expert gamer. He loved playing games on the computer and Xbox. Most of all he loved his family and friends. He will be missed.

Preceding Leonard in death are his parents and one sister.

He is survived by his children, Rickey Rackow and wife Mae of Eastland, Sheila Rackow of Eastland, and Diana Rackow of Pearland; four grandchildren, Blake, Laney, Staci, and Terra; his great-grandchildren, Gianni, Jayton and Aron; and two sisters, Helen Blanton of Georgetown and Doris Thomas of Waco.

Pallbearers will be Blake Wells, Chris Blanton, Rickey Rackow, Doug Thompson, Dennis Thomas, and Justin Blanton.
