Man Wanted on Federal Warrant Apprehended in Brown County

On Sunday, December 11, at approximately 4:47 pm, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office was involved in a motor vehicle pursuit with a Honda motorcycle operated by Christopher Lee Lowe, who had been sought after for several months by Law Enforcement for an outstanding federal warrant involving the Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

According to the Brown County Sheriff’s Department, deputies spotted Lowe on a maroon motorcycle that he was known to operate in the area of FM 585 and CR 139 near a residence where Lowe is known to frequent. Lowe began to flee deputies traveling at speeds over 100 mph down county roads and FM 585. Lowe traveled approximately 40 miles while evading Brown County Deputies and Early Police. Lowe abandoned his motorcycle on CR 136 near Red Clay Rd. and fled on foot.

Lowe was apprehended a short time later and booked into the Brown County Jail for the federal warrant, along with charges for Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle, a third-degree felony, and Evading Arrest or Detention with Two or More Previous Convictions, a State Jail Felony.

Lowe’s bonds for the state charges total $17,500.00.
