Wanda Lou Goble, 76, of Cross Plains

Our beloved wife, mother, Gigi, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on November 14 into her Lord and Savior’s arms.

Wanda Lou Goble was 76 years old. She was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be missed. Everyone who had the privileged to know her were loved fiercely and treated as if they were part of her family.

The family will have a time of visitation at Higginbotham funeral home on Wednesday, November 16 from 6:00 – 7:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 17 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Cross Plains, Texas. Burial will follow after the service at Atwell Cemetery in Callahan County, Texas.

Wanda was born on September 9, 1946 in Eastland, Texas to the late Roy Lane and Ernestine Seal-Lane. Wanda was a graduate from Eastland High Shool in Eastland, Texas. Wanda married James Goble on December 31, 1979 in Cross Plains, Texas.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Lane and Ernestine Seal-Lane; seven bothers and one sister.

Wanda is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, James Goble of Cross Plains, Texas; 3 daughters, Cindy Smith and husband, Kevin of Midland, Texas; Bonnie Gosnell of Cross Plains, Texas; Rhonda Shumake and husband, Cody of Midland, Texas; son, Jimmy Goble and wife, Caleen of Richmond, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Ernie Mae Bint of Olney, Texas; Bonnie Whitaker and husband, Dale of Anson, Texas.
