Gary was born May 24, 1958 in Sweetwater, Texas to Leo and Oma B (Parsons) Allison. He graduated high school in Colorado City, Texas and became an automotive technician specialist working at the Weatherby Ford House in Brownwood over 32 years. Gary was a devoted Ford man; he had the Ford logo tattooed on his arm and wouldn’t even check the tire pressure on a chevy. Gary married Marquita Allgood on November 25, 1981 and they began a life together that blessed them with 3 children. Gary was a lifelong diehard fan of America’s team, the Dallas Cowboys. He would record the games through the season and rewatch them in the off season. Fist bumps were a must with every touchdown made. His favorite band was KISS and he would rock out to them every Sunday. Gary loved his cats as much as he loved the moon and a beautiful sunset. His favorite thing was his family who he loved to share his knowledge about Fords and Dallas Cowboy football games with. He was very supportive and had a close relationship with his children and brother.
Gary is survived by his wife, Marquita Allison of Brownwood; daughters, Chasity Allison and Chelsey Allison both of Brownwood; son, Trey Allison of Brownwood and Dennis Manning of Fort Worth; granddaughters of Brownwood, Hannah Allison and Alyssa Lynn; grandsons, Bradley Hernandez of Brownwood, Jeramiah Manning and Zachariah Manning of Bryan, Caleb Manning, Seth Manning of Newport Richey, Fl; granddaughters, Kassidy Manning of Newport Richey, Fl and Crystal Beason of Greenville, Texas; great granddaughter, Aspyn McClure of Brownwood; brother, Richard Allison of Brownwood; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Oma Allison; and a brother, Buddy Allison.
